Limerick Jazz Society is kicking off the celebration of its 30th anniversary with an exciting Spring Season. Our presentations are:

As usual we feature a range of outstanding visiting performers from the US (Bill Carrothers, Pete Robbins, Dave Friedman) and Europe (Norma Winstone, Peter Weniger).  We have visits from two mainstays of the Irish jazz scene, Louis Stewart and Bob Whelan, and the up and coming singer Emilie Conway.
All gigs are at 9pm in Dolans Upstairs, and are on Wednesday nights except for Thursday March 8.  Ticket prices are €13 (concessions €10).

A LONG time ago, in an underground cellar in a quiet part of town, Limerick Jazz had its genesis. The 1988 occasion was a memorable one, Honor Heffernan and Louis Stewart were in town and it was cool for cats in what was then The Granary Bar - now Trinity Rooms. “Honor Heffernan and Louis Stewart were huge names then and this is one of the biggest jazz gigs ever in Limerick.
